Okay so if everyone gains 20 free acres for logging in and this is the first day of the set, how are countries @ 140A right now?

It's some bug or exploit that I never managed to figure out how it works. Probably to do with creating your country early before the reset starts.

As far as I've been able to tell, you have to create your country before the set starts and try to login, then login in the first 20 minutes of the round(not sure if this is necessary), and then login later on the same day. It's happened to me a couple of times, but I haven't consistently replicated it. I think I submitted a bug report in b&s well over a year ago, but it keeps happenening, so either its not considered a bug or its not a priority, not really sure.

That's worked for me before, but it isn't consistent.

Mainly I just haven't figured out how it works yet. We have a "new day" function that gives you 20A if it's a new day; it must be broken on the first day, but how and why the first day only, not sure

i have got this twice in row, 1st logged in after new set had started and then ~12 hrs later. won't test if it works on day 2 onwards too since getting 18 hrs bonus would mess playtimes.

Only the most dedicated earthers get the extra 20 acres...

On a side note i wish we could turn that 20a a day off like when im a TMBR. annoying dropping it. Why dont we either up the free land to like 100a a day or get rid of it? 20a is just useless!

its not useless, it increases your privvy and depending your bpt you can build up once a week.
