Good evening friends and family,
We have recently seen a spike in new handles being made, a lot of them are humorous and utilize chat gpt to create some very interesting posts. I see the adjustments made to the Rules and they are clear. The forums are designed to enhance the enjoyment of the game.
We have a lot of devoted players that have a lot of skin in the game; with the relationships they have nurtured and established over 2 plus decades of gameplay. Lots of players have met their significant others on this game, not many are currently playing but who knows. We all have grabbed a beer (s)with or have had long conversations with our clan mates and goes alike.
What makes this game special is we all play it a little different. We all have our unique backgrounds and skill sets that we can leverage to have the most fun possible. No one is the same, our diversity of mindsets is a strength. We do have a small group of players that Role-playing our game; they are completely different outside of this game than in it. Sometimes they things they say and do does cross a line, it can be viewed as breaking some of the rules. Rules that had been non-enforced or changed without awareness become a stress point to the players when they become enforced.
Our Alliances and the Players in the alliances have seen the toxicity on the AT as a form of entertainment and frustration since its inception. It's not always politically correct, which is good because it's a worldwide game. The rules and updates are designed to quell some of the more triggering topics so that more people can have a great time here.
We all want more activity here, more players and more fun. It should be focused on Gameplay and Alliance. I'd like to see two things, 1. A Monthly Email sent out to all accounts ever created, to draw players back. 2. Amnesty and 1 on 1 conversations for all players banned since EE's inception, unless it's a criminal issue.
Let's return this place to where friends become family. Thank you for your consideration.
