Wake up at a decent time and we'll pass targets to you and we break them. Otherwise, we'll do it ourselves.

So how many hot innocent catholic school girls are there in SoF? In case you guys didn't notice, in Section 3, Privision ii.a of our pact;

"In the case of a tag kill of our mutual enemies within two weeks of an FS by the assisting tag, the assisting tag shall get complimentary sexual favors for the rest of the set."

Thanks guys. I love this pact!

I'd easily say that's the most easily misspelled word in the English dictionary.

That's not a misspell, it's an abbrevation ;)

I hate it when places use "INQUIRE" instead of "ENQUIRE".

Though I realize that's not a spelling mistake if you're in the 'states...

Technically speaking, "u" is not an abbreviation. Or, at least not of the word "you".

One error I have encountered a lot is Enterview instead of Interview.

Of these two, "inquire" is both the more correct and the one in more common usage. It's a word of latin origin, so the prefix "in-" is correct in English. The "en-" prefix is how the words evolved in French and we tend to see its use in English in areas where the word entered common usage from the French but as English has become standardized, it's tended to favour a return to the spellings associated with the latin root words.

Hence "inquire".

In written language? Where do you live? I can certainly think of dialects in which "enterview" would be a common way to pronounce the word -- I'd like to know if that had entered written language though.

Not everyone uses spell check in their work. So the word interview has come up a few times where someone has spelled enterview. Happened recently at the college I work for. :P

Fair enough. The one I can't stand is entirely spoken, and it's the word "experiment". I've always pronounced it "eksp-AIR-iment" but there's a trend towards saying "esp-EAR-iment" which drives me nuts. Carrie on mythbusters does it and it bothers me enough that I rarely watch the show anymore.

eksp-AIR-IH-ment
vs
eksp-AIR-AH-ment

maybe i'm just crazy though

It's okay, I have the oh so Canadian upward inflection on the end of my sentences... so you'd constantly think I was asking questions anyway.

After a few months of college, someone down the hall was complaining that he was starting to sound like "a Pennsylvanian" because he started asking questions without that upward inflection. I wasn't aware we were alone in that particular trait... and it's not like we all do it all the time, anyway.
