He's of the opinion that if they dump their food it will crash the food market. A market where 1.2 billion bushels were sold just in the past 6 hrs. He is also of the opinion that the 44 countries in the clan need to dump that much food to fund their war. He is also of the opinion that when they do dump the food it will crash low enough for him to buy food to run turns or stock the food so that he, Requiem, will win the set.

FYI, NONE and I mean absolutely NONE of these will happen, especially the last bit.

that's what i thought, any cheapish bushels get bought immediately by standing orders so unlikely that req would get any of it.

Considering the amount of time left in set, I think it'll firm up around 54~ and begin its slowish descent down to its bottom. 100 SoF/SOL countries with relatively decent stockpiles going to be dropping bushels hard soon enough.

Well my back of napkin calcs essentially say that the break even for a country stocking 20 mil bushels/day the past two weeks jumping now and reselling vs continuing to stock and unloading around the 34-35 mark is about a 54$-55$ bushel, dropping by about a dollar a day. That is for mediocre reselling conditions. For good reselling (high mil prices) I'd put it at 51-52. For bad reselling it could probably be 56-57.

But I emptied my turns before selling so I'll just way the few days until it drops to the price I want :P
