It appears you are having trouble reading. This doesn't have anything to do with MENSA. Nor is Mr Curtis a member.

But rather, Mr Curtis had lied by telling Mr Duetchske he was a member of Mensa. And to make matters more entertaining, Deutchske had threatened to sue Curtis for this lie.

Rest assured, neither are Mensa and the organization does not need to adjust requirement stringencies

But the point is investigators probably saw that as potential 'motive' for Deutschke to frame Curtis. - (the reasoning here being if someone is nuts enough to threaten suit against someone for falsely claiming Mensa membership then that same person might very well frame the other for something like, sending ricin in the mail to lawmakers)

I just think the story is funny

lol. me being on the forums is just a side-effect of booze and habit. they got ridiculous with drink driving and smoking laws, so there really ain't much else to do when I'm drinking. suppose i could jackoff... but how many shots is that good for?
