I took a peek out of boredom. I see #6 hitting M4D somewhat sporadically starting 11:48 Gametime on 9/12. This continues through 0:03 on 9/14, including 2 successful PS on #119 on 9/13.

Retaliation doesn't start until 9/14 at 19:56, appearing to be a joint effort by M4D, whom has 9 tagged countries, and TheOmega.

#119 (from M4D) appears to take 2 retals on #6 two hours before their run and doesn't participate in the KR, leaving that to the other 8 in M4D plus the 17 tagged TheOmega.

#6 restarts as #331 and leaves protection around 10:30 on 9/15 and an M4D guy tosses a few missiles a few hours later. However, another joint quasi-KR (from 26 countries on the other side, mind you) doesn't start on #331 until 14:28 on 9/16. #331 isn't killed until 9/17 at 14:38.

In that whole 5-day window, multiple countries receive PS, missiles, and AB from both #6 and restart #331, and #119 in M4D just hits bots plus his 2 original PS retals. According to eestats, he appears to run turns through the whole event without assisting his tag.

It takes 2 tags with 26 countries 2 days to get a kill hit on a restart.

Sui, you should raise an army of ex-players and lead them to glorious purpose

Prime, maybe #119 is Celphi. He always stored turns and netted just incase he needed to wall!

sadly an good ol fashioned war would need lot more players in total, clans where much bigger back then .... its a ship that has sailed a while ago.

M4D got bored, a few sets ago. They decided to kill my country and the associated restarts for no reason. They stated they were bored.
I saw this as an opportunity to get some folks active and bring back some trash talk.
If I saved only one bot, it was worth it lmao

Thanks Sui, it did make me nostalgic for killruns a bit and was nice to let loose the hotdogs of war again... just not sure I want to do that every day again. :)

I don't believe age has anything to do with it. I think the world of social media has made folks lazy.
I will soon be 67 years, old according to a piece of paper issued at my birth yet, I stay active with many home projects and helping my local community.
I have never, since 1999, set alerts during times of war. I get plenty of sleep and and have no regrets by NOT limiting real life stuff. If my country is killed as a result, I just hit the restart button and start the fun all over again.
(example; iffin my country gets killed, I can take a day or two to go hunting, fishing, build a deck or whatever AND I decide when to come out-of-protection).
As my favorite activities are outdoors, I tend to be more "game active" when outdoor weather goes to shiat.
This just my story and everyone has their own but, to classify all players as just old is BS.

P.S. Bot lives matter. They should be removed from Alliance and allow a few sets to actively recruit more players.
Don't be old, and more importantly, don't be lazy :)

landgrab stuff, couple of lobs, then sui did what sui does best, missles and stuff. Store up some turns, see if anybody wants to stretch their legs, run a run a couple days later, kill the guy. Then wait for his restart to come OOP, then set that as offline for anyone who needs to spend turns. It's pretty much the only excitement going on these days.
