OK folks, I need some help. If you would take a moment and follow the link below and click "Vote Now" for my submission to this contest it would be a HUGE help! This is a scholarship competition to help me go back to school, and the $ end of things is very important, and without which I won't be able to afford to do it. I have also applied for several other scholarships, but this one is obviously a pretty big one and would go a long way towards helping me on my way!

Thank you all!

Yes, AoS - Eden Prairie. You too?

Yes, Xintros - you can vote 1x per day. I really don't want to ask folks for much more than 1x though, as I already feel like a bit of a leech asking this much.

Thanks so much you guys! I really appreciate it!

I'll vote everyday for a fellow MNer! I live in St. Michael. If you don't know where that is, consider yourself lucky.

I know exactly where St. Michael is. I'm actually driving through there on Friday on my way to a show in St. Cloud. I used to work with the church/senior center up there arranging transportation for all your old people. Rogers is way better though - I love Wayzata Bay Spice shop! Best BBQ rubs in the world!!!!

We oughta grab beers one of these days - you guys up there on the wrong side of the county line still have 2AM bar close, no?

Yessir, 2 AM. Rogers is a lot better, but all the construction there is messing fluff up. Useful though, the traffic can get terrible.

Have you ever heard of Project Earth, out in Geneva? That's where I'll be on Friday. :D

I had to come through there at 2AM about a month ago, and I was absolutely floored that there was a mile long back up through that crap! They had it shut down to the shoulder only, and we moved at a snail's pace for about a mile and a half.

Was it down 19? It was probably from the corner bar there, if it was. A guy that lived above it, and some of his friends, beat the shiat out of some kid from out of state in the middle of the street, and put him in a coma.

You can see why I love this place!

No, it was up there in that clusterfluff they call a construction zone on 94 - even at 2am, it was taillights as far as the eye could see.

Sounds like St. Michael to me, though! I used to deliver auto parts up there in HS - you guys had one of the first body shops in the state that could shoot chameleon paint - and I used to party w/ some of the body guys/mechanics up that way....always a hee-haw!

Ohh, yeah. You should see all the pick-up driving teenagers. Never gets sickening. Except for all the burn-outs, and ridiculously loud exhausts, and just about everything else about them. Wouldn't be a problem if there was only a few of them, but you literally can't walk down the street without seeing 2 or 3.

lol, thanks guys :-)

I don't mind the pick'em up trucks....except when they just straight saw off the exhausts. I was one of those kids though - had a K5 Blazer with straight pipes in HS....one of the best vehicles I've ever owned! And loud pipes save lives :-D

Not when I imagine shooting everyone of them :) At least, not when that plan comes to fruition.... Seriously. There used to be just a few people with loud-ass trucks, whatever, probably normal, now it's like, 40% of the town.

I'd say stuff potatoes in their tailpipes, but most of 'em don't even have tailpipes anymore....sorry mate, you definitely are stuck in redneck hell.

Gonna be up that way today, actually. Meeting one of my DJ's at 101+94 to get him the music library.

It's a living - I usually work a 9-5 on top of it, as it doesn't take much direct management and I like money, but I'm taking the chance to go back to school since we had a pretty good year.

You all don't need to join the site to vote for my cousin. Thanks ;-)

There was an error when trying to display this page

I tried. Maybe PM me the link, or repost it?

Thanks a ton for the votes - although honestly, I'm coming to find out they're in vain, as there's a couple dozen folks out there voting for themselves through proxies a couple hundred times a day.

Thanks anyways though guys, I really really appreciate it. I'm pretty happy with my 60+ votes, even if some cheating little bastages are gonna beat me out. You guys made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside :-)
