If you use 100% it's fine, but if you adjust the zoom, then it goes to mobile portal?

I think it's more to do with the browser window's width. Try resizing your window size to a really small width and you'll see the same thing happens, but when you change your browser zoom, something funky happens and it thinks your window has a very small width too.

one more for ya qz: I appreciate that there are now different colors on a:visited vs a:link or whatever, but for us colorblind folk (there's got to be more than one, i hope) the distinction is not at all clear. maybe revisit the colors a bit more? :)

Pang did add the color change, but as blid said, the color difference is so minor it is incredibly easy to miss. And it doesn't work on the main forum listing to indicate whether a forum has been visited (without new links/threads).

I don't think the color is changing at all anymore. All my threads the same color even after I click on them and read everything.

Oh heh, seems it's because I was clicking the "2" for Page 2 instead of the thread itself. If you click the last page of a thread instead of the main link I don't think it does anything.

Question about PMs:

1) the search box doesn't seem to do anything
2) when messages get threaded/grouped... is there a way to delete or ungroup some parts of the conversation? I want to * a particular PM and it's like 5 deep in a group. Which I guess I can just * the whole group but I was only wondering what the functionality is here.

The Wiki Alliance Directory used to take a person's forum ID ("forum=2139") and it would convert that into a link ("http://forums.earthempires.com/...ages.php?sid=2139").

Those links still work -- if you know the ID.

However, with the new forums, I cannot determine someone's Forum ID, only their handle. The new system would use a new link structure ("http://www.earthempires.com/...m/inbox/create/Atryn";).

I cannot just put "forum=Atryn" in the Alliance Directory or it creates a bad link ("http://forums.earthempires.com/...ages.php?sid=Atryn") which bombs.

Ideally, we need the "forum=XXX" logic updated to use forum handles and create the new style links. Alternatively, we need backward support for finding the sid for a forum user account.

Thoughts?

I know SoF has run into this same problem since a bunch of theirs don't work now...

Incidentally, Mr. Azure's still has an "sid", but it doesn't work, as if his account is gone? :)
