zomg updates! say what?

Ya, so I finally updated the server to ubuntu 16.04, and implemented HTTPS/SSL

so you can all check out https://www.earthempires.com now! woah!

qzjul & the EE Dev Team! (Pang is around lately too!)

Finally did the signature thing.

I’m not sure if google ever fixed this-: but you don’t want to use auto fill because a person could create hidden form fields on their site and your browser would basically auto populate it without your knowledge and send it to them.

well in this case I'm talking about on market pages when selling or buying goods you click the amount you can buy or sell and it fills the fields same with sell all, they don't work in https

Need to update a few lines:

Mixed Content: The page at 'https://www.earthempires.com/express/market'; was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure script 'http://ajax.googleapis.com/.../1.7.0/jquery.min.js';. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.

Need to add https to your CDN otherwise you lose all jquery on page.

A small hack could be you pasting this into your console log on Market's page.

I would have offered the jQuery method, but it seems to be broken on the page atm.

@Marshal,. using FF doesn't *save* you from not sharing personal info. Unless you're using TOR,. they are still storing the site you visit.

Why bother? Google is gonna know everything about you no matter what you do. FF tracks you too and if you use TOR the government tracks you through your ISP. You're fluffed.

1 videosite switched to ssl and after that videos didn't work if didn't switch to non-ssl url (it got fixed few months later) so atleast we can play under ssl.

sometimes the qoutes don't close the brackets I've noticed but I think its the input field cursor sitting on the last bracket so when you hit enter or space or type it overwrites it.

I would be very wary of implementing anything celphi says without very careful scrutiny. His participation in the community has very frequently been for nefarious purposes. Do you really want to take code advice from somebody that has been sanctioned by your forum mods for doxing other users to win an argument?

Ya, I do need to fix the jquery one; I haven't gotten to that, was trying to fix the spyop upload to an https url last night, on my dev; having to change libraries...

Before https I could tap 'send attack' multiple times before it loaded the end screen and when it did I just hit back and mashed 'send attack' again. Now I have to back up all the way to the war room and prepare attack again.

open up a mobile browser, go to https://www.earthempires.com ... the huge link that tells you to use the mobile site doesnt work. it just loads the main page again

if you enter in https://m.earthempires.com the browser complains about it not being secure, and you need to add an exception. so ssl isnt set up right for the m subdomain
