3rd Offensive Pact Change into WILD CARD PACT

Instead of having three offensive and two defensive spots, we now have a wild card pact.

Two defense and two offense, and a wild card.

you can have three defense, but not three offense, or viceaversa

This game has always been about offense, maybe it's time for a little more defense.

Because right now with 3 Offensive Allies, anyone worth two cents can break anyone.

This won't change anything... assuming people already buy as much military as they can/want to then they will just change the distribution of offense and defense. This won't result in anything other than a slight alteration of market prices.

I say make "Trade Pacts" more worth it.

If you have a Trade Pact, it costs more to maintain, but you can send 5% extra to a total of 15% of whatever it is you want to send.

Detmer,

An all explorer can focus on defense, have two similar allies, and still be easily broken by someone running all jetter and wants to ruin other people's resets.

Having three defense allies means that the all jetter either would have to be bigger, or have offensive jugganaut allies as well.

Certainly would balance things out, because having 3 offense and 2 defense allies just doesn't make any sense

Someone could always go all-jetter to grab someone if they want to... an extra d ally won't change that...

I perhaps sound too vehement. I don't think this is a bad idea. I do not think it is a good idea though. I suppose as qz mentioned an extra tech ally could be very valuable.

If your point is about offense vs defense I think it makes more sense just to remove the extra offense slot.
