Seeing how this is one of the few forums that administrators and developers read fully, it would be great to have some general guidelines for people who post so that we don't have the same discussions over again or posts with no real input, both of which waste everyone's time.
1) A lot of posts start off with "this has probably been suggested..." etc. If you already have that feeling, then please, use the forum search in the top left of your screen next to options.
2) In general, if you are going to make a suggestion about changes in game play, come prepared with logic and well thought out statements on what you hope your change would accomplish and why you feel this is important.
3) If you are new or a returning vet, having a new point of view can be great for finding bugs and suggestions. However, don't suggest big changes until you've had some experience in the new style and game play and have a reasonable idea of their effects.
4) Create useful and descriptive titles for your thread. In fact, it'd be great if we could come up with a consensus on how to best organize threads so that developers working on specific projects can easily find relevant threads. Perhaps using [Bug] or [Sug] at the beginning as well as what server for specific issues.
Maybe this isn't a real problem, and this thread will fall by the wayside, but it would be great to have some general guidelines stickied at the top for people to follow. Especially about searching the forums, as every few weeks the same topics are recreated without referring to prior discussions. Feel free to add any other appropriate rules I may have missed.
