I found this weird bug, whereby when I was trying to log in (or displaying the server rules), I had the main page "welcome to Earth Empires" page displayed in the panel.

I resolved the issue by clearing browser history and cookies.... But it's still weird....

This sounds like the usual log in issue which is remedied by clearing cookies.

If there's a "usual issue", then why not resolve it so that it WONT happen to anyone again ? If it's a cookie problem, then simply let the cookie expire or something ?

I think it's on their list of things to fix, but not sure how difficult it would be. If nothing else, perhaps there should be a FAQ or stickied thread for common problems. Especially this one since the fix is so easy.

Well, the forum cookie issue I attempted to resolve, but apparently didn't; I need to take a day to poke at cookies on there to try to figure it out; it probably has something to do with expiration times...

As for the game... I wasn't aware there was a game-related cookie problem... you never know, cookies are stupid sometimes
