Fargonasphere (#248)

Killed that in ffa. Shows as dead but no kill hit on it.

So i assume its a bug


(Unless someone did an SR or something to finish it off, if they did then no one in our warchat was willing to claim that they did it haha)

How does the ingame news differentiate between a kill hit and a non-kill hit?

edit: Do you mean the ingame kills counter didn't add a kill to any of the countries who hit it near the end?

#205 #242 and #5000 didn't get credit for it

Possibly the country was self-deleted?

Basically, if he only had 5 pop left, then the last hit would kill exactly 5 and it would be the kill hit.

SRs can't kill a country.

I dunno, im not the game maker. But it does somehow.

mIRC news bots and Eestats all show kill hits.

So they have to get that from somewhere. And neither shows the kill actually occuring.

I think the country may have self deleted to deprive you of a kill hit.

Who self deletes with 103 turns on hand to wall with. So no that wasnt it.

Cause we got a spy op afterwards. And he had 0 civs.

And yes i know last hit can be exactly 5 civs. But they still show up in the news bots and EEstats as a kill.

Yep, then it looks like the database missed it.

None of the countries that participated in the last 20ish hits

#205 has 2 kills for the set, plus this uncredited 3rd kill
#242 has 4 kills for the set
#4951 has 0 kills for the set
#5000 has 2 kills for the set
none of those 4 countries got credit for the kill on #248 ingame, by doing the search for country method, which shows how many kills a country has

This happened at least 2-3 times when evo was warring SoF a few sets ago. Spoke to qz about it then and he said that there were a very small fraction of kills that got missed.
