Shouldnt there effect be the same as Military tech? ie. increasing private sell and decreasing private buy

That would be interesting. If only the effects were a little more pronounced then you could resell military from public to private!

yeah not even counter act, not sure if I can go further but a full dmbr with 84% tech bushel sell price only makes it back to 31

So demo MBR would be able sell bushels at 39 just like any other demo. I don't see how that would destroy balance. How many people really play MBRs anyway?

qz: Personally when I suggested the tech change, I kind of meant that it should be for MBs and theo bonus as well. The same reason that the tech shouldn't hurt you, neither should the theo bonus or MBs. I think a smaller affect that is consistent for all 3 things makes a lot more sense IMO

Other possibilities will be to perhaps cause MB's only only lower buy prices and not to affect sell prices, or for both military tech and MBs to only lower buy prices and neither to affect sell prices.

As it is now (if I'm understanding it correctly) it seems like it actually gives advantage to a "lazier" strat of 0-MB reseller, since the military bases could hurt you for dumping stock. Or maybe I'm understanding it wrong.

Well realistically one wonders why military tech and military bases affect food prices at all ;)

Having $53 would be a huge problem. The price would never drop lower due the private market and that would be a big hit to casher and indy incomes.

The change that I would have liked to see is that Mil Tech, Theo Bonus, and MBs all have NO affect on PM sell prices -- only on buy prices.

Not only that, but one demo could buy all food on public market, sell it in private for all food below 52$.

One person with a DMBR would make it so 100% of everyone else would be able to sell food for 52 or higher on public.
So many ways to die, only one way to live...
