I have the same problem a couple of times a week. I just use my verizon wireless card when I get it. I thought maybe I was the only one having the problem so I wasn't going to say anything.

nah i think it's got to be either other games or it's only matching the first two octets...

For me it can't be other games.

i meant other games within the first two octets... ie somebody in your region playing another game that uses it...

Yep I was just coming to say something about this too.
Been about 3 days since I got this bonus.
At first I thought it might be because my son-in-law was playing (we're on the safelist) but he says he hasn't had a country in a month so .... I'm not even trying for the next 24 hrs.

Many solers have reported this issue with the site saying there IP has already been used.

had the same problem 2 days ago... but then today it's working fine... not sure why... @.@

It's back ... waited 24+ hrs after it did it the first time and it just did it again.
One of you super geeks out there wanna explain how to do this proxy stuff you're talking about.
Once in a while isn't a big deal but if it happens more than not that gives me a serious handicap over the course of a set.

It happened to me about 2 hour ago..I turned off my computer and came back later..tried it and it worked? If I wasnt mistaken it was before 12am CET 10pm GT and it worked about 1am CET 11pm GT?
I use a wireless connection out of Germany.

Me and Bigwiggle live a few miles from each other and go through the same ISP, and we have to try to beat each other to it every day. It must only match the first two octets, like qzjul said. And Havoc- if you're connected at your university, chances are you're sharing an IP with hundreds of people.

I know proxies are frowned upon around here, but this is a situation where they come in handy. When the bonus thing acts up (bigwiggle gets to it first), I use http://www.hidemyass.com/ and just copy and paste the entire URL from the MMORPG site in there. You might run into problems if other people are using it... I don't know how many different proxy servers that site actually has set up.

proxies have been suggested as a fix few times to voting-probs (maybe even admins have).

proxies for the game are a no-no generally... but for the bonuses, if it fixes your problem, then NP really... we don't see the proxy, and we get a vote...

ya, you can proxy the voting sites all you want.

the game-side manages how you get turns -- all your proxies will do is increase our vote count :) :p

fluff I should start trying that I guess.. this bonus has only worked 2-3 times for me in about the last month:/ makes me feel like im at an unfair advantage when im trying to stockpile one specific bonus and am behind everyone else..

i guess havoc wants priv replenishment.

Meh, I'd pay a fee/donate money if I could get the bonuses automatically without doing anything..

partially me too except during wars cause before getting bonuses needs to see if country is allive or not cause unused bonus points and bonuses don't carry to restart.
