Add another dimension to the game for people to sell and buy in the future at reduced or increased cost based on current supply and demand of product. Product will be a function of gov`t distribution and strategies (i.e. - food, tech).

Also add a middleman who controls the buying and selling - so some country strats can be market based. This could create whole new strategies and dimensions to the game. It would also change the way people netgain

and if people die or otherwise default possibly even deliberately?

these are all kinks that need to be worked out - its the risk of playing the market.

In terms of death - well that happens and someone is on the hook.

In terms of deliberate default - that would have to be ironed out a bit.


This is a suggestion - need to spice things up

first thing to do, get someone not playing seriously to make much short term liquidity with a harsh long term penalty

then lose everything either for the lol's or for someone elses benefit

but the death thing youd have a whole alliance going to war with huge incentive to do something which would help them win/do damage then not care what happened afterwards

in ffa sure you could tie it to a whole account but if you didnt id ruin one country delete it and start another one, think like in eve where your countries can go negative 20b cash

I realize that it can be taken advantage of - I think its worth a discussion. If something can be structured so that the cheating is minimal it would be extremely intresting. We could simplify the derivative definition, and perhaps create some form of market that is between the current public market and private market.

I am unsure how the market would work, or the interaction with the derivative but it would add another dimension to the game and add an additional market element. I admit the cheating is somethign that would need to be worked out
