If not, I would like to suggest that perhaps we can get a Naval Component to the game, for example, amphibious operations by Marines that could be opposed by shore batteries instead of turrets.

Add a few more types of units to the game to support it, for example, the Marines and shore batteries suggested above, plus warships for shore bombardment, etc.

If you don't think this is a good idea, please just delete the thread. :)

maybe if you were to add a unit look at a support unit that strengthens or weakens what you have

as not only are 4 simple their strengths are simple. 1 troops 2 jets turrets 4 tanks

would naval be worth 6 and say half as much as a tank again with half as much production?

In BRE (Barren Realms Elite; this game's ancient predecessor) you needed Carrier units to carry troops into battle. You could have as many troops as was possible, but you needed X carriers per Y # of troops going into battle. If you were attacked, all your troops were available to you (of course, no need to CARRY them anywhere). I would like to see a mechanism like this introduced... If that is what you mean by 'support unit'.
