Just curious if people would be interested in this as a game rule for the purpose of making ANW "more legitimate." There is also the issue of deletions as a work around, but that could be discussed if this is even a popular idea. I can imagine the admins might leave this as something that can be policed by the players on the respective servers, though.

7 days would be good i agree. to help "legitimatise" at least one aspect of ANW.

it has pros and cons, if some1 loses net on 6 days to go then that player drags anw down.
Patience: Yep, I'm with ELK and Marshal.

ELKronos: Patty is more hairy.

Gallery: K at least I am to my expectations now.

LadyGrizz boobies is fine

NOW3P: Morwen is a much harsher mistress than boredom....

just an example: what if player A had 800 M bushels stocked but family emergency comes up and can't demo destock last 48 hours. I think clan should be able to drop that player.

also countries that self deleted during the given period, should still count toward the ANW of the tag.

Sounds crazy but it happens, I've saw it.

This is only to accommodate alliances going for ANW. What if someone in the alliance does something really bad in the last week, they cannot be kicked out?

I like ANW but maybe something needs to be done about the calculation? Maybe instead of limiting when people can drop out of a tag the calculation will use the NW of all players who've been in the tag all set?

For example:

Country A joins Tag A.
Country A Leaves Tag A after 20 days with a networth of 1.5 million.
ANW of the alliance will always account for country A with 1.5 million NW as that is the NW they had at the time they left the tag.
Therefore no matter what if someone joins a tag they will have an effect on the ANW even if they leave the tag without actually restricting the detag...

Just a thought, might have a lot of flaws but maybe there is an alternate solution than to just restrict tag control.
