we need something to make this fun again

For me personally, for this to be TRULY fun again, we need about another 100 players. That is perspective, when I would have thought around those numbers and even higher numbers at points we needed more.

That said, there is still a very mild zing of fun still existing for me.

Possible there may even be some value in limiting the raping of countries. Doubtful but possible. There had been a few self deletes this set in which that would not have helped at all. I think it keeps coming back to player numbers. I personally have always enjoyed non bot servers, and I do not think adding bots, would really bring extra players or add any enhancement beyond a small group who love to farm bots. I do not see it as a revival or rejuvenation in player counts

We have reached a point where we have this AI. Technology is going to levels never seen before. So much so from our very lowly perspective of "where can AI go" it is probably a much more safe bet to understand anywhere it could go, it already had. There are probably entire races, ships, even beings that are in fact AI. of course it stared with a merger with some sort of physical body and AI. and well here we are playing a text based strategy game wondering how to make it more fun. 💀😭

I've even heard some very popular folks were actually ET AI.

Are you suggesting we go from dumb bot countries for farming to giving an AI freedom to run countries with weapons and, dare I say, nuke missiles? And you expect humans to survive? #terminator2025.....
