Single grab that cannot be immediately retaliated is seen by most, including me, as part of the game. Largely, I let these slide.

i did a single grab. So the guy tried to Retal and got a DH.

Then 18 hours after my initial grab he took another retal on me.
FOr starters he already failed his retal, and then spent 18 hours getting 1.4m jets and 250k turrets.

So since he over retalled and went all jetter. I took 2 retals back on him.

He then decides to grab for 1k acres. and then follow through with nukes. Take ur fluffen 1k acres u stupid player. WHy the fluff nuke.

THis is why this game is stupid. WHat do u want me to do, grab everyone in the server once, then let them hit me 2-3-4-5 times and never be able to retal because then they have the free will to nuke for no fluffen reason.

a lot of people have spent a good deal of time trying to convince the admins to make express something other than a netting server

there has been quite a lot of movement toward a pure server but it is still, as you say, merely a netting server
