I currently play in LAF. The game had changed lots from back then, and express gave me a better understanding of the game.

I didn't stock anything. I was on the top 10 from the very start and did LG to the top 20 countries.

The only thing I have to say is that 10M Networth difference between me and Thunderwambat hooo (#32)was a lot. I thought it would be much closer but it was a good round.

Yeah, for sure I shouldnt have converted to MB. I usually dont. With tech staying above 2000 i should have teched for 15 hours longer :(

mdemon - You were indeed at the top 10 all round, and had low land high net all round. Just wondering how you can produce efficiently enough to reach 30m like that. Between that and being Democracy I'm guessing it was through using the market and am curious what the strategy was. But if it's a trade secret that's OK too. :)

Luck :) As a demo its all luck. Same as when i got 27.5 mil with my demo. Buy overnight when prices drop and stockpile food and hope for a few peaks

maverick is right in some ways, luck does have something to do with doing well in the game. I was lucky that I didn't get suicided or retalled.

Some of the things I did:

I stayed small at the beginning to not attract attention.

I didn't LG too many people to not upset them and to not waste so many turns. I didn't expect a retal on my country because of my high nw and few acres, else they would had to spend lots of $$$ and raise their expenses, which would also lower their potential targets.

Buy cheap tech that other techers (lucky for me there weren't many dumb techers) were selling for what I considered too cheap. I guess you can say I was stocking tech.

Ah, so you're the one responsible for the fluffty tech prices that kept almost the whole server under 20m networth. :D

Last round probably means this is the perfect round to go casher hahh.

I have a feeling tech prices will be good this round, just because people will predict what you are predicting blid and all go casher.

Well, if they did go casher good for them, because Bus and Res tech are already selling for UNDER $2500.
