Is commie too powerful? The winners have usually been conmies. I'm ethoxylates. This is my first top 3 finish since I started playing earth empires in july.

lol, I decided not to wake up early on a monday morning for once and still finished top 20. Amazing.

I don't think commie is too powerful. Shaney played a great set and got bigger than everyone else. It was also a great set to be an indy as average turret prices were $143 vs $134 and $121 the past two sets. Even with that if a casher were to grow to 20K acres they could have put up >30M NW. My casher wasn't close to $30M as I screwed up a bunch of grabs and got topfed when I was full of stock.

ha, I was almost 10K acres smaller this round.

Ethoxylates you finished really high for having only 10k land. I don't think commie is too powerful.

blid: I started stockpiling early (I think it was about turn 900 or so if I remember correctly). Made some mistakes along the way too (e.g. bought quite a bit of bushels at $42-$44 thinking I could resell them and ended up selling everything on my private market at $35 when I could have sold them for $38 or $39 on the public market on the last day).

I made a similar mistake with oil. Sold at 70 on my private market but didn't see there were orders for $110 on the public. I wouldn't have been within range of Shaney either way.
