Make the bots discourage land grabs by allowing them to send missiles if they have been land grabbed more than once by the same person - or allow them to spy and determine the weak point of a country - e.g. the bot was land grabbed multiple times by the same human so it spies his attacker, it notices there were no tanks at all and the bot has tanks, so it retaliates by doing AB's. That way a human cannot land grab for free without have anti missile defense tech, and it cannot land grab for free without having a a reasonable number of defense in troops, tanks, etc. We want to make land grabbing bots less free so that people are willing to take more risks and attack humans for more gains
Bots in alliance form defense pacts. It makes Landgrabs much more expensive. I'm not sure why there are differences on servers that have bots. In Alliance the bots form pacts, but they are not listed as NPC. On express the bots don't generally form pacts (only research I think), but they are both visually ID'd and listed as NPC on search dbase. It seems Alliance could benefit untagged players with bot changes, and express bots would increase their strength with defense/spy pacts.
The missile retal is a lost cause. We've been asking about that since day 2 of their intro. Something tells me vet players are behind the scenes with mods. Without bots those 500,000 acre farms might become more of a challenge. Who do you think presses the developers for "updates" to the code calcs?
