Why do you farmers use the public market? You're helping your competition so much more than your helping yourself by using the public market. The other strats can't work nearly as well if they can't buy cheap food.

You make significantly more fluff selling on the public as opposed to the private, as much as 8-20 more cash per bushel. The more you sell, the more you profit whereas the private market sucks balls. Most strats are market dependant anyway so....meh. Whichever strat you use you're helping the enemy by helping yourself! You're fluffed either way :D

if farmers were smart they would not let food go below $50 in express. but since everyone is afraid to wait an hour or 2 to sell thier food they sell it for 37. thats why a set long farmer doesnt work well unless you play it very tight

It doesn't work that way. Even if you got all of the farmers to agree to sell only on the private market, someone would get greedy and start selling on the public as soon as the price went up.

If you get 90% of the farmers to sell on private for $38.

And then 10% of the farmers sell on public, they would be selling for like $60. Then they would spank your ass in finish nw.

techers shouldn't sell cashers or farmers tech, either.. have you even tried to win a server as a cash or farmer with no tech?!?
