I mean, if I edit my page like u asked me to. Do I have to check it daily to make sure idiots like that don't edit it with rediculious claims and slanderous remarks?

That's not very big motivation to put the effort into doing that work.

I'm not so much for writing out the history and politics of everything, as after so many years it all tends to blur together, but I'd be happy to keep the jokers who want to turn it into a mud slinging fest in check.
