Same here. Hits for the sake of killing with no threat to yourself don't mean too much. Having to restart your countries constantly, slows down your hit rate a lot. Especially when you are only in wars half the time.

I'll be happy to go head to head on hits w/ anyone that would like to. Just because most of our targets were one persistent suicider doesn't mean it took any less turns to kill him. He killed countries, and I made plenty of restarts over the 2.5 sets he was providing us with entertainment.

Llaar has done a lot of warring in FFA as well.

Well most of the people there are in KA and they I don't think they have warred too much. So the statistic takes on a somewhat different meaning since most of the hits probably were not war hits. I don't know what exactly that amounts to, but it is good for comparing

aponic - at least portions of LaE warred every set. We made a 110 FS 2 sets ago, and tag killed a 200 member clan within a week of being FS'ed last set.

Believe me - were I able to have gone without the kills on Tex, I would have. I considered him not much more than an annoyance for the most part, and killing him WAS far too easy. The fact of the matter is though, those kills on him only accounted for about 1/3 of DM/bsnake/my kills at most.

well, one thing, either now3, dm, and bsnake have a really low HBK, or they are cherry picking bastards... probably both but anyways...

I personally don't bother looking at half of those rankings, they are all skewed.

you have clans that actively go out killing untagged countries because they could be suiciders that are taking aim on your clan, and you have people that purposely beat the fluff out of their countries so one can have a high NW.

so for somebody like me who just makes a few landgrabs and retals a set, and a few kills a set when needed to... theres just no point in looking.

almost like comparing chipper jones to barry bonds... one did everyything he could just to increase his stats, and the other didn't because he felt he was good enough as he was

im 600 hits out of the top 10. and mine are 99.9% war hits. and 0 are 1 man clans and random untags :D

I'm pretty sure I am a cherry picking bastard. No way I could get those stats..

Now I am gonna toot my own horn a bit on this one.

I don't CP...unless it's from DM....Usually it's just the opposite lately, I break for others, and then save turns for another target cuz it makes no sense for a country w/ 5mil troops to be hitting @ 5k gs.

i have ended 2 rounds with 2k+ missiles :( from now on ima just fire them at randoms lol

i wont dispute your ability to use your turns to make hits... ive seen it done, so i know its possible :P

i was merely suggesting that during an actual war... against opponents that are capable of killing more than a handful of your clan's countries in a single run... you have to work harder for every hit you are able to put out...

we have yet to enjoy the luxury of having targets that only pose a minimum threat to our overall clan numbers...
