Our craft beer scene is getting bigger. KoH actually lives in a really good area of the US for craft beer!

I pass on all the 'lite' beers and crap like that.

Absolutely, I've got more micro breweries to pick from than rivers and lakes combined, and I'm in Oregon, we've got lots of rivers and lakes!

Say NO to big beer, Fosters included, that's horrid excuse of a beer

I mostly drink homebrew but I do love craft beers. That being said I do have an appreciation for macros. I'll take a Lord Chesterfield Ale from Yuengling or a Genny Cream Ale anyday. I'd put anything from Sierra Nevada or New Belgium up against the world's finest anyday. They are big enough to be considered macros I guess.

Indeed. Founders and bells might even be macros at this point. You can find two hearted in virtually every store that has PBR.

I'm not a fan of the chesterfield tho. That gives me the poops haha.

I'd also throw in Dale's, Sam Adams and Dogfish Head into your delightful macros mix tho. I don't think many of the national brands can hold a candle to DFH and I'd take any DFH ale over Sierra Nevada ales in most cases.

This might be bs, but i think sam adams acquired Dogfish Head a year or two ago. If so, I'd figure that line of craft brews probably does near to as much business as Anhuezer Busch, and actually has dozens of quality beers.

Also if anyone here says that Fosters is an Australian beer needs to please let go of that. We don't drink it, we barely even sell it on shelves unless its to homeless people.

We have a huge craft beer market here in Victoria particularly. and most of them are fairly good..
