How can a country have a DR depth of 4 when it doesn't have any deffends?

It can't. The game doesn't report a "DR depth", so I'm not sure where you're getting your information.

Boxcar just lists DR based on the number of hits per 24 hours. so if a country is hit 5 times in 24 hours it will show DR: 5 on a box car country search for said country.

I believe that there are some errors with boxcar FFA news.

Boxcar may be posting bad information, but when we retaled a hit, our returns compaired to a Depth 4. The country had maybe 10 attacks for past 24 hours, and 0 deffends (This set).

The country being retaled, and the country retaling were both within 10% of total land, and networth.

Both countries had 0 tech at the time of the retal.

4.5k acres hitting 8k acres
vs
6k acres hitting 5.5k acres

NW is not the determining factor in this, it was the land size. Since both hits were done at similar NW. The lower land hitting the higher land will always come out ahead.
