this server suffers the most from not having oiler bots I had to spend 600b cash leftover buying out the entire tech market I did leave like 100k indy points for someone else to overspend on though. throughout the set I was able to buy 1.5b oil barrels and 1b of it was over 500$+ and still came way short, even until final hour nothing was picked up by SO's and nothing showed up on market.

switch 2/3 of indy bots to oiler bots and every1 is happy (well not human oilers maybe).

I ran Oilers in an attempt to regulate the market a bit this set and only fell short for a few weeks. Last set I used Oilers to hold oil over 850 for 6 weeks. You're correct. Its brutal

I was buying all set upto 800$ and only got 1.6b barrels of the 4b I needed.

I think I took an oil destock to 2b ish before? Like 1.2b oil was the most I could get in a set. I dont think an oil destock will ever get that big unless they players start responding to the market and cashing in.

I've made a serious pile of money running oiler heavy FFOs. Just like a couple in my string. There really isnt a reason not to. The market would be way better if everyone didnt run the same 2 strats every set lol

then you have to add in bot grabbing having to now send 8x as much as you did only a year ago, and with the amount of bots on FFA DR was never a problem so the gains were the same.

1a had one set where oil was ridiculous because of this change. The following set, 2/3 of netters ran oiler hybrids and the price of oil never even hit $200. It's not like it takes a ton of oil to supply the market. If netters responded by building the most valuable buildings, the market would change. It's just that people are too lazy to run more than one strat.

the peaks are never the same and this set didn't see any action either so was even less demand, most demand comes from week 1 to week 6 from people grabbing bots, the rest is those that are planning for oil destock, which is far less then the demand from grabbing. But even if you added 1 more person playing a full oiler all 16 it would over correct the market, but if you ran the farmer bots FFO it would balance out and be more stable on the market.

Texas would bust a nut over $600 barrels. All these trump crotch gagging white bred American types here and like only 1 capitalizing on the market. I guess its ultimately proof no one actually is paying attention to what would make them more money. Haha

Yeah. Or allies in the UAE. We dont necessarily need to help Saudis develop nuclear technology to have a few extra barrels on the market. That said Canadian tar sands is still a dumbass way to get oil when we can just throw up some extra refineries here in Texas. It's not like we have to drill national parks in Alaska or something. 1 string of Oilers would lower the market below $300 or less.
