my best mate has the rariest brain cancer.....

max life span is 4 years for his type....

he has had 2 18 hours ops in 2 years....

this wednesday is his results of his scans..... he has been clear for 6 months.... it was this scan (12 months ago) that said it was back and he went under the knife for the 2nd 18 hour op.....

dont want to lose my best mate of 17 years yet....

If it makes you feel any better, doctors told my grandpa he had 6 months to live at most.....53 years ago.

How tragic. But we can only hope that his will to live will make him so determined to beat it that it will happen. You know, I forget the name of the man in the States but he was diagnosed with cancer and only given a couple of months to live. He made up his mind to be happy, jolly all the time, laughing everyday.......and guess what? He beat it and lived to a ripe old age. Laughter is sometimes an incredibly good medicine.
