Today marks the 1500th day that I've been soft drinks clear.

I'm actually only addicted to Coca-Cola, but I decided to quit all soft drinks.

I have a friend that actually went through withdrawal systems trying to quit drinking the stuff.
Mind you she used to drink between 2-3 litres of the stuff/day.

that stuff is garbage, unfortunately i drink the diet stuff a can or two a day cuz i like it but i really shouldnt, on account of it's garbage, as stated.

I drink coke zero like its going out of style. Thinking about quitting but I just quit smoking 5 weeks ago so one step at a time

can one actually get addicted to soft drinks? I mean u like it, you'll find it that it goes nicer with food etc, or it helps you to sleep better or keep urself awake.. But addiction? withdrawal?

yea you can have caffeine addiction/withdrawal but i duno if it can be that serious. like it's not like peolpe seriously abuse it or have relapses or something? but i think, just giving it up and not drinking any for 1500 days is probably more about abstention/healthful living than it is about kicking an 'addiction'

Back in the day Coca-Cola used to have cocaine in it. True story. I suppose that's when it really would have been addictive

diet coke addict here.... yes caffeine is addictive.

2-3 litres a day is similar to what I was on, I had tried for years to quit and always gave in, and there was definitely withdrawal symptoms.

Being clean for 1500 days is a huge thing for me, and it isn't about health or fitness thing, I still have beer gut.
