same thing has been asked on rally and formula 1 and many other sports (not in bielorussia since they didn't give a fluff about corona) that are x amount of races/matches enuf so that championship can be given to that who has most points.

Every game will matter, as opposed to the 1620 games played normally. Won't have to save arms for the grind of the season. More innings in the game from badass starters, meaning less pitching changes. Could be a nice changeup, overall.
