Anyone here do any sort of horticultural work or hobby?

Looking to find any tricks or tips to help study and/or remember things. Taking a two year program that's crammed into 10 months and I'm finding the botany aspect a little difficult :(

If you water it, it will grow?

I have grown an organic garden for years.
I am also an avid hiker and have learned the names of many plants and trees, and I to have trouble remembering names. I use little tricks to help me remember. :)

Lol nice! Nothing better then going out into the bush for the day and doing a little foraging lol. But it's not so much the names I'm having issues with, it's more the cellular structure and the hormones I'm having trouble with. Took a couple basic classes a while ago and though I was going to be fine but turns out what I'm taking now is more like a mix of university chemistry/biology/physiology...and not just the hormones and cells but how we manipulate them in almost every imaginable way...tough times :'(

Just remember to have the reddish lights ready for when you want the plant to bud, otherwise stick with the blue for vegetative growth.

Oh, and it helps to shock it a bit by putting it into darkness for 24 hours when you're ready to start making buds.

First while your in veg cycle cool your room about 4 degrees Celsius an hour before and after your lights go on and reverse it when you go into flower (drop your room 4-6 degrees Celsius 1 hour before and after lights turns off) so dusk and dawn...you will get bushier plants in veg stahe and longer buds in flower. To put into flower, 48 hours no light and cool your room about 4 degrees Celsius the entire time.
