At first I thought, Celphi killed a country named Kobe Bryant...then my GF comes out of the bathroom saying "Kobe is dead"...I'm like..WTF...dang wow, as a Lakers fan I'm still trying to process this....

Kobe transcended the sport though. A sad loss :/

He was one of the few players that played with passion and heart, he'd give it his all each and every game until his wheels came off, he truly left it all on the court, very few players do that.

Totally with you KoH. Him and MJ are my favorite players to watch., but Kobe took it to another level off the court after his career.
