Just wan't to ask if any of you guys knows how to repair an proxmox server using LVM thin storage?

My colleague posted this one for reference about the problem we had about the said server...

Is this some kind of shared storage? Or is it just std lvm ? How many partitions?

Is this physical or virtual server? U got any Backups?

You might want to consider opening a support ticket with the
OS vendor. I imagine they all take credit card.

This is why software raid is crap IMO

Did the server have sudden power loss? Is the lvm being mirrored?

I used to use veritas lvm for Solaris sparc back in the days of direct attached drive arrays.

My motto now is EMC if can afford it lol

sadly, we haven't got any backup for the latest changes we've made as I had no access on our company's GitHub account before it happened... the previous sysadmin who was handling the servers just went awol... the only backup i had on my local drive was a few months behind from the latest one...

Not yet, as of now my colleague is currently talking to someone from upwork... and i'm currently setting up what i had backed up on my local drive...
