all other PC games are inferior in all forms.

Obviously California Games, Alex the Kidd and original super mario bros. are superior to the above 3.

don't really have one, but i supposse it might be Elite from Firebird software. it's the reason i love the Blue Danube so much. took me like 16 hours straight of smashing into space stations before i got the hang of it, and made enough cash to buy the automatic docking computer, which played the Blue Danube.

i used to dance around the room while it was docking. weee...

oh, i probably crashed like 1,000 odd times during those 16 hours.

I used to say FF 2 (US, so really FF4) BUT

Over the years, I have gotten far more enjoyment out of fighting games like SF games, marvel vs capcom, etc. So I have to sa my fave game EVER is (drum roll please)

SOUL CALIBUR!!!!!! On dreamcast, with the 8 character team battles. That was the fluff.

I agree of the newer final fantasys 9 was the best.

Over all though I still think 4 was the best. It was way ahead it its time and was the first to have a really good story line. I'd put it as 4, 9, 10, 6 then the rest in no particular order

Looking at old games I say:

The Monkey Island series FTW!!!!!!! Those games were funny and the storylines just EPIC :-P

More recent my favorite for console would be:

Assassins Creed serie

PC starcraft 2 wins it atm hands down.
