The only thing you could ever do to close the quality gap with laf+resist is improving yourself. Using large numbers to win wars doesn't do anything at all. Really warring doesn't do anything at all, unless you need to war in order to net. Anyone can war, only a few can net. When alliances are warring not out of competition, but out of spite, as is the case, then they do nothing but degrade themselves as people.
