I think the public market needs to sell out when everyone jumps endgame. Adding a huge private stock stops the last minute buys that could make or break NWs. Buying off each other end set is a lot of fun and more unpredictability fighting for position (you're buying NW off other players…).
Food needs to be stockpiled too, or atlas something on the public market, or there is no point to all the strategies we have, everyone will start playing off their private market, commies won't be able to exist, and this would ripple through to the demands of other strats... There didn't feel like much demand for food, designs of a preplanned war? Maybe, but neither was there a demand for oil. Market should be fluctuating much more. Did losing the cap mean it was easier to hold onto cash?
