Actually it was just last set, he bounced on a SS and it was his only SS of the round. Maybe it was meant to be a PS.

Yep. It was supposed to be a PS.

It was 99.6% or something before that bounce. That one was caused by a few bounced missiles on Vivanick's ally when they both topfed me (we would have finished rank 4/5 otherwise) in the aforementioned reset where afaik didn't get top 10.

Does bouncing missiles count against you? Are you sure? You also bounced an AB I think but I didn't expect that to count either.

Seems like military prices are on the rise now as well, I am still putting my money on the Casher/Indy countries for most of the top ranks.

Even in an epic tech set, I believe the way the game is now, indys and cashers will still win. Maybe i should be more specific - oldman will still win with his casher or indy or rainbow

Some techers may not have even started teching yet. At this point last set I'd teched for about 25 turns probably.

I think I didnt tech much more than 30 turns until I started stocking really. With grabbing, spyops and building that was all that was left.

Accidently grabbed someone today who I had already grabbed earlier.
Trying out a diplomatic approach and offered to give advise on how to run his country better. Instead of just defusing missiles and outgrowing. Let's see how that works..

To add more to what has already been said. Yes some techers haven't started to tech yet but will shortly. The tech starts will all also be just starting to get going and start purchasing there tech. This should increase the demand as the supply goes up. I think this will be a good set to be a techer may not be great but a better set none the less compared to previous.

With all this being set maybe it will just be a bad round for the cashier crews out there. Also the market bushel price will be the determining factor on how well anyone really does.
