I see some players using military bases in their build. I thought they only came in handy as a reseller. Can anyone explain why I shouldn't invest that money in mil tech?

It used to be a real thing back 20-23 years ago that people ran theo techers then replace 1/3rd their buildings with MBs and teched on til it wasnt worth it anymore while jumping from their private markets.

I think it only works when you are buying a lot from private AND you have great expenses. But back then it was also turbocharged by the fact that those theos bought food real cheap and destock it really expensively this way, and ofc tech prices went from high to in the cellar as well so labs were kinda pointless last few days anyway.

I know this didnt answer your question. But I also dont know what the question was really. :P

PS Mil tech is good, especially if you are a reseller.

PPS the vast majority of countries in primary with MBs are ofc run by nubs. farm them. dont copy them. :)

I spied one of gerdler's cashers towards the end of one set and he had close too 200 mbs! Explain yourself!

It was a late retal or a grab that got me those and I didnt think it worth it to knock em down as I was jumping already.

They do after all lower expenses and reduce pm purchase prices :)

Yeah don't build mb unless you're going tmbr and for that you need lots of cheap oil, last set I dropped most my land and had 100% mb in final week of the set, I also had over 250m bushels + 30m barrels to buy out the private and still wasn't enough oil, I'm not sure what the ideal food/oil ratio is for Theo mbr destock is, I'm winging it LOL

you can do theo MBR without oil. Ive won team server with it.

The problem in most servers, including primary, is that we get too fat for it to work well. the switch takes too long and costs too much for too little benefit. But what I did in team was a rep farmer and instead of cashing to stock I built CS, So that when I wanted to switch to theo MBR I did it very quickly despite being well over 20k acres.

Yeah I see what you're saying and that won't work for me with my bpt, I'll probably repeat my last set destock minus the errors depending upon the market in next 25 days.

ohh yeah you need massive bpt for that to work, so you dont have this option. just tech it out. it wouldnt be good to do it this set anyway, tech prices are great, you should tech all the way to the end.
