If an ally is dead, do you still get the benefits of an off/def/intel alliance? I know the answer is probably not, but thought i'd ask anyway

i think their army and spies help, it used at mehul's game until country was deleted.

pang and qzul both said that they do help. However I just failed a ps with a dead off ally that I should have broken so either it was a really unlucky bounce or dead allies dont help.

I sent about 5% less than the break not counting my ally and he had more jets than I did so I should have ended up sending 20% more than the break.
