The question is still unanswered on weather troops are worth 1 point or 0.5 points. It seems answered that jets are worth 2 points. Also, do troops defend against jets?

It doesn't matter what number you assign units as long as the ratio is right. .5/1/2 or 1/2/4 or 2/4/8. Same thing.

Troops are both offensive/defense, so yes they protect against jets. I give whole numbers to make hits easier. Offense/Defense: Troop = 1/1 Jets = 2/0 Turrets = 0/2 Tanks = 4/4
