is there formula about miltary losses when does ss or ps or is it plain xx % of forces sent?

You lose 8% sent.

Defender loses 5%, but this gets modified by defender's medical tech, attacker's strat tech, DR levels, luck factor, NW difference, and probably a few other things.

it's stupid that defender loses more on a DH than they lose on a break. what's the justification for that??? needs to be fixed.

The justification for a DH for the defender to lose 50% more units is because the attacker loses twice(?) as much readiness.

readiness loss also depends how much forces sends.

I haven't checked the EE formulas but defensive losses in E2025 were randomly 4, 5, 6, or 7%. (5.5% average)
