1. Only 25% of army-at-home would be brought in for assistance? Are they mod with bonuses (government, tech, readiness etc)?

2. Does my ally loss any units -- as in the case of defensive ally? If yes, could anyone tell me how many %?

1. yes and ally's govt etc don't count.

2. yes ally loses units too. its prolly 8% from units helping you.

1. Yes. Max 1/4 units is sent. Allied help (both D and O allies) are unmodded. This means
1a) Your weapons and government doesn't help them
1b) Your ally's weapons and government doesn't help them.

The unmodded help cannot be larger than your own modded army's strength. 1 ally CAN double your army strength if he has more than 4x your modded strength.

2. Yes.
For Offensive allies: 8% of what they send to help
For Defensive allies: 5% of what they send to help modified by the usual medical tech, DR depth, luck factor, NW difference, etc etc.

if you get grabbed and see msg saying your ally didn't lost anything then ignore it, its a bug.

if your off ally is def ally of your target then off ally won't help in your attack.

If you have 100k jets and 130% weapons. You are able to use 130k of your ally jets (assuming he has 4x your jets).

Assuming its a 260k PS break on your target. You can send 100k Jets at 130% weapons and break him with your off ally's help.
