What percentage of your allies spies do you get to use?
er..or..How much spal do you gain from allies?
What is the formula?
Well, you know what i am trying to ask,I think...

It *use* to be 25% I believe.

But, looking around here, it was actually based on both players' spal.

So I really dunno for sure.

I believe we made it like the attacking/defending allies; where you get 25% of your allies spies, added to your own; that number of spies is then applied into the formula which takes acres into account; (keep in mind SPAL is not directly used)

This is all off the top of my head though, I'd have to look at the code to verify.

Finally did the signature thing.

Does the 90% military strength of a republic affect the spies?

I seem to remember it used to in the old Earth.

Military and spy strenght is different only govs with a bonus to spies are dicts

Yes; but i think we thought that it would be simpler to keep it like attacking; though again, don't quote me on that 'cause i never remember to look at this board when i'm at home with code access...

that's a good question, maybe cause their spies aren't used, just spal gets used.

spies get used no spal, and they dont lose them cause they are sneaky.

because allied spies are primarily helping with logistics, running spy equipment and the like while your own countries spies are doing the dirty work

the logistics helps the spy operation but no lives are lost
