Or those goods can be spotted by anybody (and subject to hit/ops) who spies it once they are returned?

goods return even if player is away, for example if goods return at midnight and you log at 8am you see at countrynews that 8.x hours ago xxxxxxx something has returned from market.

that's why many players recall their stocks when time is nearly up and put those back to market, just avoid losing part of it to suicider etc.
