Hi. My advisor screen tells me I have enough food to last for more than the maximum number of turns that I can have saved in this server. I'd like to do a batch explore with all of those turns.

Gaining unused acres from exploring will increase my food production, but also my population and therefore my food consumption. In general, does net food per turn become more positive, or more negative over the course of a batch explore? I absolutely do not want to run short on food, especially if that starts in the middle of a batch explore. Does the answer depend on residential/farming tech %?
