I don't know anything about boxing, I just know that Manny Paqciao and Mayweather are considered the two best.

So I have a question.

What makes people think that Manny would eat him alive, aside from the fact that Flyod seems to be avoiding a fight?

For one, Manny has lost 3 fights while Flyod is undefeated. This doesn't mean much given that the opponents may vary, but still, what makes people so confident in Manny over Flyod?

Unless donations provide absolutely NO new players, then it's worth it.

The game hovers around 700 players (alliance) every round. I'm sure there are at least 50 people who'd be willing to donate 5$ a month as long as it gave them a forum name or something, maybe a star next to their country name. No need for bonuses for countries, except maybe automatically gaining those bonuses for voting.

If it takes even 5$ to recruit 1 new player but 50 of us can pay that per month, the game will still improve drastically.

So why wait? I really think all it needs is some assurance that this is used for advertising and a little "reputation reward" to feel good about ourselves.

I donated a chunk of cash when the game started and wouldn't mind again if I new I wasn't the only one, and if I saw that the number of players increased.

I remember you said you wanted to wait for facebook as right now it wasnt worth it or something. Truth is, I dont care if its wasteful because it costs 5$ of advertising to get a new player. And I think others might think the same. We like this community enough and 5$ a month is easy to pay. Advertise it enough and promise it's all to try new things to get new players and maybe you'll get 250$ a month or more!

Geez, this thread feels weird now. How was Evo doing in ANW and TNW when I started this thread? I remember checking the stats ingame and it felt obvious Omega was ahead.

The reason for that is that the last time(s) both netgained, Omega was far ahead of LCN in ANW so I don't think they are in the same league pound per pound, even before they gained TIE.

BTW, if you want an engineer to work for you for free, it is usually helpful to stimulate interest by specifying the problem at hand.

They are about to win ANW again, and TNW on top of it, thanks to LaF being at war.

2 sets ago they were even with LaF in ANW until the end when they humped ahead of LaF by over 10mil networth in the end.

And last set, in my opinion, they saved LCN's asses and outperformed them in the war vs iMagNum and SOL, saving the day. I don't think it would have gone as well if Omega had been stuck in a war for a while with iMagNum and then SOL had FSed Omega, killing most of them. LCN unlike Omega could not have fought SOL the way Omega did.

Is Omega by far the best pound for pound alliance? Just how far does their skill put them? Could they beat LaF or SOL one on one given an even start? What about Collaboration, LCN (which now has TIE in them) or NA? We know they could beat them all in netgaining at least, except for TNW vs LaF.

Also, wtf happened to NA? They were left in peace but their performance is rather weak this set... llaar needs to recruit more so this game can have at least one 100 members alliance.

Sorry if I missed this, but Zarcon, did you calculate hits per real second, as in any sequence of 1000 miliseconds, or are they hits per "calendar second" so to speak?

For example, someone made 16 hits at 00:13:11.

But maybe others also made as many or more hits, say from 00:15:00.05 to 00:15:01.049

Yeah, imag was started from scratch and before vengeance and way before Stones as well I believe. I didn't see the graph though as I'm on remote desktop.

The training tag though doesn't really deserve mention as it was there only for 1 set as a spam tag which we then filtered and took 30 members from. It was MercsTrain or along those lines in 2004.
