I wish I had seen this sooner and that I could remember more of my interactions with him. I, like Brett, was in ULTRA with goorp. He was a great leader, always willing to learn more and teach what he could. I've been trying to find chat logs from my conversations with him on ICQ, but unfortunately I'm not having any luck right now. I'll keep searching, though.

TBH, if it were up to me I would prefer we netted more often than warred, but the numbers of the game need to start increasing if netting as much other than all-explorer (or dealing with situations like this that crop up) is going to be viable.

I'm .. not really sure what you're implying. O_o That I might not stick around for another set? That we'll be netting all the time? That EE won't be around anymore? That we'll be warring all the time? None of those things are really insults, so .. yeah.

Not like we were ever netters at heart. Who needs to learn how to play when you're always warring? :V
