the commie strat can either make or break your country. strategic execution is key on whether you'll succeed on this or not.

personally speaking of course (and IMHO), the commie techer or commie indy works for me because it gives just the right amount of flexibility to focus on netting and at the same time have the capacity to kick ass in case war suddenly breaks out.

tyranny works fine as a user strat if you're hell-bent on warring all set.

if you're goal is to primarily net, then tyranny is not the best way to go.

just my 2 cents

would it be wise to keep on buying tech beyond the 159% level?

successful teching relies on a few perspectives

namely:

What's your teching objective? is it for optimizing your chosen current set strat?

strat as a farmer > scale up your BUSINESS, POPULATION and AGRI tech levels

strat as an oiler > scale up your BUSINESS, INDY tech levels

strat for warring > scale up your WARFARE, WEAPONS, SPY, MILITARY and MEDICAL tech levels

question > what's the best way to keep military costs down? and not lose too much money, after turn 1200 of running the commie/indy strat?

suggestions with specific details would be most appreciated
